Myself and Kyle have come up with a short review of the movie.

We liked it mostly because:
1. Unexpected comedy at every corner.
2. Natalie
3. Voice-overs

We didn’t like:
1. Every shot being overexposed.
2. Total Length.
3. Wrap up ending.

I’d 100% recommend buying the movie however, but first I would be sure to check out www.njfilmcore.com and watch his short movies, and some Giovanni Dinosaur first, because thats what this movie is. It’s a full length version of that. In my opinion Erik was not ready for a full length feature, but hell, he did it, and did it pretty damn well!

The plot is well thought out, but I didn’t like the ending much, I didn’t feel that it wrapped up the movie enough. Also some of the repetitive things got anoying after the first 10 times they were done. The voice-overs could have used some variation, but puppets in a movie like this was highly un-expected and I kinda liked it. Support independent film makers!

After talking to the newspaper, I don’t have enough time with my current engagements to take on another job, it would require 2 days a week, all day. Oh well, maybe in the future.

My birthday was the other day, 4/4, and I didn’t really do anything. 3 people called me to say happy birthday, the first being one of my fraternity brother’s Nick, which I never expected. The others being Melanie, from back home, and Melanie, my big sister in a sorority. My presents were a few checks from relatives, and 3 quarts of OE from my fraternity brothers that were at my house. It was just some hanging out, and was decently fun.

I watched Erik’s movie with Kyle… and it sure is Erik style. I suggest anyone who wants to buy it, watch some of his short films. His full length movie is basically those… but much longer. It’s not perfectly edited, the entire thing is over exposed, but he did a great job with the production value and sound. At least he’s selling something, which is more then most of us will ever do in movie making.
